This special swackett easter egg was published on March 22, 2013 to commemorate the first of William Shatner, who appears as Captain James T. Kirk in this scenes from the classic Star Trek series.

Synopsis: Swackett, free for iOS and Android, contains detailed weather predictions in graphics and text. But its main feature is a cute infographic display of a stick person wearing clothing appropriate for the current weather. It also contains amusing weather trivia (as in, one inch of rain is equivalent to 15 inches of powdery snow).

swackett’s chief system architect Bill Hubauer is appearing tonight in Milan, Italy — not directly promoting swackett — but on tour with Neal Morse and appearing with the Flower Kings. This is progressive rock at its very best.

Bill is not only a world-class programmer — but is also a incredibly talented multi-instrumentalist: piano, keyboards, guitar, sax, violin, and more. Its a pleasure to watch this man play.
